The sporty Mercedes-AMG GLA-Class lineup is already thrilling, but for select international markets, it's getting an extra dose of performance with the GLA 45 S 4MATIC+. This potent variant cranks up the power and introduces several updates, aligning it with other recent changes in the AMG family.
Increased Power
The GLA 45 S 4MATIC+ is a high-performance version of the GLA-Class, producing 416 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. This power comes from a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine that sends its output to all four wheels through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. While the standard GLA 45 boasts 382 horsepower, this S variant adds more punch to the driving experience.
Subtle Design Tweaks
In terms of design, the GLA 45 S 4MATIC+ receives a few subtle updates. The emblem at the front of the vehicle now features AMG's crest instead of the typical three-pointed star. The LED lighting elements play a prominent role, with redesigned headlights that feature a new DRL arrangement.
